Student / Aspiring Author

As of right now, I am 20 years old and a junior in college, majoring in English. My passion is my writing, and I look forward to the day when that's all I do. I'm currently in the process of writing my first novel, and hope to eventually get to a point where I'll be writing in other forms as well. Every time I think I know exactly what's going on in my life, BAM, God throws another curveball at me. But I wouldn't have it any other way. He always finds ways to keeps me on my toes, and through it all, He constantly makes my life worth living.

I love reading. I mainly like to read adventurous, suspenseful fiction with a spiritual twang, as that be the sort of thing I see myself writing about in the near future. My favorite authors in this genre at this moment would include Ted Dekker, Bill Myers, and Frank Peretti. But that list is surely to grow. Look out for a guy named Austin Carty--this guy's gonna go places. Obviously I also love to write, and while I'd primarily like to write in the aforementioned genre, I'm completely open to expanding myself into writing whatever story God decides to put into my little head. Whenever I have time, I also love to run. It's a great way to escape the pace of everyday life and to let your mind just wander away. With TV, I forever stand by Survivor as my favorite show. Other favorites include Lost, The Amazing Race, Heroes, and Pardon the Interruption. With sports, my devotion is to the Phillies. After 14 agonizing years, they finally made the playoffs this year. JUBILATION.
