I work at an auto repair shop in Fort Myers where I am the Office Manager / Service Manager / Bookkeeper / Cleaner of the bathroom (I work with men....do you think they are going to do it? LOL) and General Peace keeper.
Its a challenging job...
but someone has to do it!

image

I moved to Florida from Montana.
Its a whole new world down here...but I like it!

I unfortunately am tortured with Migraines. Thats what got me here to Yuku, the lovely ladies from the Topamax Trip on the ezBoard. Maybe someday we will figure out a treatment that will work because we cannot find the reason for them. One can only hope and pray.

The two girls that run my house....

Blinky, our newest addition. We adopted her last Christmas from a friend who had 4 kittens who needed a good home. She is independent and Joel's buddy. She does however like to groom my forehead when I sleep...LOL. She is quite the character. A happy addition to our house, for sure.

And this is my Angel Girl, Fizzy. Fizzy was one of the hurricane survivors. She and her brother were found on Sanibel Island, Florida. She was at the vets office in a cage along with many others needing a home. She was so hoarse that she could barely meeeew until she looked at me and let out the biggest boldest MEEEEW! I told her NO...I cant take you home....do not look all cute. She let out another. I just had to hold her...that was all she wrote. It was love at first meeew. She reached up and started batting my hair and purred loud. She is my little buddy, my little angel. I cannot imagine life without her. I am so lucky she picked me. :)

Tigger Racer

image

So this is why I call myself Tigger Racer...

image
My old 70 Chevelle. I don't have is anymore, but it was a really good race car. We painted it up like Tigger for the Halloween Classic at Boise. Each year they have a trophy for best decorated pit, crew, car...things like that. They never saw ANYTHING like my car...LOL. It was all painted with strategically correct painted stripes, a pink nose, ears, cheeks, and a tail. All of the stickers on the car had to do with Winnie the Pooh and all of the characters. It was a 9 week project from slower race car without a cage to a full blown race car. Between Ed, Nancy, my Mom, Scott and I it was Quite the project. We had to not only strip the car and rebuild it, the interior, engine, but also paint it, create the stickers (which was a BLAST) create the costumes, and plan a trip! And...we did it! We never made it down the track, broke on the line in the water box on my first run, but I did get that best decorated car trophy. Had to tow it up to get pictures taken...but it was still worth the trip from Montana to there...a trip I will never forget and a car and friends I will always love.

And my few minutes of glory :) I had a blast at the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School in Pomona. I was so proud! They used this picture on their brochures for several years. It was an incredible school and if you are into racing I highly recommend it. I learned SO much!

Happy Turkey Day!

I have very eclectic taste in music. I love everything from country to rock and everything in between. So...you may have a hard rock followed by a Disney tune...Enjoy!

Go to your happy place go to your happy place

I used to and maybe will again some day love to paint murals, especially kids rooms! I want to paint a "Dinasoar Roar" room so much!!! Or a Tigger room, now that would be cool!

image
The Flintstones was at my old job in California, I got bored and painted the auto dealership up to look like bedrock and Flintstones while selling cars in between. Made the other salespeople mad, I was top salesperson that month and still did all that. I had a blast! The wolf was back in Montana, my second job painting ever. Spidey was a window painting for my advertising business, he was really hard to do but turned out well I think. It was at a grand opening for a comic book shop.

image

I wish I had a good pic of Simba and Nala, that was my first paint Job ever and I didn't really know I could even paint. It was a really good friends room. On the other wall I did Bambi, Meeko and Flit, Thumper, Mickey, Minnie, Sylvester, Donald, Daisy, and her name in large puffy letters. It was a blast! The snoopy picture does it no justice, it was bright and vibrant colored, matched their sheets, it was amazingly cute when it was done.

Here is my latest project. I have always wanted to do either a Little Mermaid or Nemo Room....so I get to do a Nemo Bathroom. I may even throw in Sebastian or a few of the characters from Mermaid.
These are still rough but they are the beginning stages of what I hope turns out to be a cool paint job. :)

Dori was being difficult, but I finally got her to turn out well.
